Worcester Wraps Up Six Games Series Against Rochester With 2-1 Win

Sunday afternoon in Rochester, The Worcester Red Sox who have won their last five games in this six games series, wrapped up this series today with a 2-1 win.

At the top of the first, Josh Ockimey hit a single and got an RBI (Chad De La Guerra) to make it a 1-0, Worcester lead.

In the bottom of the first, Victor Robles hit his first homer of the season to make it a 1-1, tie game.

At the top of the fifth, Johan Mieses hit a single and got an RBI (Connor Wong) to make it a 2-1, Worcester lead.

The Worcester Red Sox will have Monday off and after two weeks on the road, they will return home to Polar Park in the Canal District.
