Worcester Looked Okay In Game 1 But Were Shutout In Game 2 Of Doubleheader

Franchy Cordero who was optioned back to Worcester on Monday but wasn’t in the lineup on Tuesday or Wednesday, was back at Polar Park for Thursdays doubleheader against the RailRiders.

The Worcester Red Sox won game one 5-3 and they were shutout 5-0, in game two. In this eight game homestand, Worcester Red Sox have won 2 games and lost three games. In the Trriple-A East, the Worcester Red Sox are 48-45 and in third place.

These two teams will be back at Polar Park Friday night for game six of eight and it will be interesting to see if the WooSox can bounce back from Thursday nights shutout.
