WooSox Recognize Breast Cancer Survivor And Assistant Deputy City Manager, Nicole Valentine

Wednesday at Polar Park was “Woman On Wednesday.” The WooSox Recognized Nicole Valentine, Assistant Deputy City Manager for the City of Worcester.

Nicole played a role in persuading the Pawtucket Red Sox to make Worcester their new home.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Nicole has worked tirelessly under the City To confront the pandemic while at the same time, battling breast cancer and becoming a breast cancer survivor.

Joining Nicole to throw out the first pitch at Wednesday nights game were Kate Harrington of the Worcester Fire Department, Director of Public Health, Karyn Clark and Dori Vecchio the head of human resources for the city of Worcester.
