The final Wednesday night from Polar Park was Worcester 5 and Rochester 18. WooSox and the Red Wings will meet again at Polar Park on Thursday night for game three of this six game homestand.
If the WooSox wanna turn things around and achieve their goal of winning this homestand, they gotta make some changes to not come up short like they did Tuesday night and Wednesday night.
They’re down two talented players with both Jarren Duran and Jeter Downs qualifying for two different Olympic teams. So the WooSox need to look to replace this missing talent or seek improvement from their younger players.
Additionally, they need guys like Marcus Wilson, Franchy Cordero, Michael Gettys and Jonathan Araúz to become more consistent on the offensive side of the ball. When you have guys like Michael Gettys, Jonathan Araúz, Marcus Wilson and even Yairo Muñoz playing at their best, the WooSox can be unstoppable.
The WooSox also need to look at their pitching potential and make some changes to play guys like Brice, Hall, Houck and Grotz. These are guys that can step up so everyone can see what they are capable of being.
