As of Monday night, in Massachusetts there reports 1,480 new COVID-19 cases and 32 new deaths. The state also reported 1,107 hospitalized COVID-19 patients.
Because of weather conditions on Tuesday, the City of Worcester has made some changes to COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
The Site at the Worcester Senior Center will open at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Appointments scheduled from 8 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. will be moved to the same times on Saturday, Feb. 20. Appointments scheduled tomorrow from 1-6 p.m. remain in place.
The vaccination clinic scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Worcester State University, will be moved to the same time on Saturday, Feb. 20. Appointment times will remain the same, and email notifications will be sent to those with scheduled appointments. The afternoon clinic, from 1:30-5:30 p.m., remains as scheduled tomorrow.
Free Stop the Spread COVID-19 testing offered by UMass Memorial Healthcare is currently scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow at Mercantile Center, 201 Commercial St.
For individuals 75 and older without access to the internet or who are unable to schedule a vaccination appointment online, the City of Worcester says that these individuals can call toll free 2-1-1 or (877) 211-6277 for assistance.
