On Friday afternoon the City of Worcester released a statement that Paul J. Moosey, Commissioner of Public Works & Parks has passed away.
In the statement Worcester City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr. said, “I extend my deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of Paul Moosey – his wife Cindi and three siblings – in their time of mourning. His passing is heartbreaking to me both personally and professionally. It is a tremendous loss for the City, which he served faithfully for 36 years. I am honored to have worked with Paul the past seven years in his role as Commissioner of Public Works, and I will miss his him deeply as both a friend and colleague, as will his extended family in the Department of Public Works & Parks.”
