On Sunday Worcester Police responded to the Stop & Shop at 541 Lincoln Street for a report of an assault with dangerous weapon.
Upon arrival the officer talked with the victim who stated that two people approached him outside of the Stop & Shop and demanded that he pay them money that he owed them.
The victim told the officer that one of the individuals was a female who had a knife and he also told the officer that her name was Angela Webster.
The officer talked with witnesses who confirmed that the female did pull a knife on the victim.
Angela Webster was arrested and she was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (knife).
On Monday, Webster was arraigned in Worcester District Court and pled not guilty to to the charge.
Judge Steven D. Power ordered Webster committed to the Western Mass Regional Women’s Correctional Center and set bail for Webster at $500 cash or $5,000.00 bond.
If released, Judge Power ordered that Webster have no contact. stay away from the victim.
Webster is scheduled to be back in Worcester District Court on November, 9, 2020.
