On Sunday, July 12th, officers with the Worcester Police Department assigned to the Operations Division around 4:10 p.m., responded to the area of Castle Park for a report of a man in medical distress.
Upon arrival officers located a male who had been stabbed, he was transported to UMass Medical Center with non-life-threatening wounds and he is expected to recover.
The male was stabbed on Main street and then made his way to Castle Park. It appeared that the man had been at the park for a while before officers had arrived.
