The one single question that everyone has been asking, now has been answered. Tom Brady after 20 years with the New England Patriots, is heading south to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The NFL has confirmed that Brady and the Buccaneers have reached “an agreement in principle.”
How long the deal is for is unknown however what is known is that the deal is worth $30 million.
On Brady departing New England, Robert Kraft the owner of the Patriots said, “How do I possibly sum up the depth of my gratitude to Tom Brady for what he’s given us these past 20 years, or the sadness I feel knowing it’s ending? I love Tom like a son and I always will.”
Josh McDaniels, New England Patriots offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach said, “I will miss all the meetings, FaceTimes, emails and texts in our pursuit of a good play.” McDaniels also said “Although I feel a great sadness knowing that he is leaving the Patriots, I am grateful for the years we were together and beyond blessed to call him my friend.”
